Mary, Queen of Scots, was born in 1542 and was executed on 1587. It is generally believed that Mary's execution - ordered by Elizabeth I - was the final reason Philip II needed to launch the Spanish Armada. There are few other figures in Tudor England who had such an eventful life, though for Mary, Queen of Scots, it was to end in tragedy. After 19 years of imprisonment, Mary Queen of Scots is beheaded at Fotheringhay Castle in England for her complicity in a plot to murder Queen Elizabeth I.

As I remember, could be wrong, Mary Queen of Scott was actually a cousin to Queen Elizabeth. She was conspiring to have Elizabeth assassionated, so that she could take her throne. But Q.Liz wanted to have proof, not just hearsay. During the Rein of Q. Liz was later known as The Golden Age. Since there had been such great prosperity for all the people of England.
