Yaoundé is the capital of which African country?

Yaoundé is the capital of Cameroon located in the south-west of the country and 730 meters above the sea level. The city consists of several districts which lie along both sides of the central street – Kennedy Avenue.

The population of the capital is over 2 million people. The official languages here are English and French though many people speak various African languages and dialects. Half of the city residents practices Christianity, and the other half practices Islam and traditional African religions.
