Another name the first Boer War is known by?
The First Boer War, also known as the First Anglo-Boer War or the Transvaal War, was a war fought from 16 December 1880 until 23 March 1881 between the United Kingdom and the Boers of the South African Republic (also known as Transvaal; not to be confused with the modern-day Republic of South Africa).

It appears that we can't access desired details about the First (and Second) Boer Wars because the author neglected (and reviewers missed) to cite the complete site. It reads: Wikipedia. It should read: en.m.wikipedia.org.

The Brits found out the Dutch had found things of value so just went in and stole it. Much the way they did the Dutch in New Amsterdam/New York.
