The Dallas Cowboys turned the Orange Bowl Stadium in Miami into their own chamber of horrors. Dallas lost three Super Bowls in the venerable, now demolished, venue.

The Cowboys lost a turnover-plagued contest to the Baltimore Colts on a last second field goal by Jim O'Brien in Super Bowl V.

In Super Bowl X, Dallas led most of the way before falling to the Pittsburgh Steelers 21-17. Pittsburgh safety Glenn Edwards intercepted Dallas quarterback Roger Staubach on the last play of the game.

In the first rematch of Super Bowl combatants, the Cowboys lost a 35-31 shootout to the Steelers in Super Bowl XIII. This game was memorable because Dallas' future Hall of Fame tight end Jackie Smith dropped a touchdown pass in the third quarter that ended up being the difference on the scoreboard.

The Cowboys are the only team to lose three Super Bowls in the same venue, although several teams have lost twice in the same stadium.

The Denver Broncos have lost twice in the Superdome in New Orleans. The Minnesota Vikings have lost twice in Tulane Stadium in New Orleans. The New England Patriots have also lost twice in the Superdome.
