Can you name the 35th President of the United States?
He defeated his opponent in one of the closest presidential elections of the twentieth century on the 8th of November, 1960
The American politician, commonly referred to by the initials JFK served as the 35th President of the United States. He was elected to the office at the age of 43, thus, being the second-youngest president (after Theodore Roosevelt). He was also the first American president born in the 20th century. Few people know that he was the only president to have won the famous Pulitzer Prize.
One of the most respected presidents of the 20th century was assassinated on November 22, 1963.

jferengi, You obviously were too young to remember, or have been fed some phony information. Richard Nixon and John Kennedy HATED each other. Nixon believed (with some justification) that Kennedy had stolen the 1960 election from him. Nixon also attended a meeting at Clint Murchison's house, the day before the assassination, where details of the assassination were finalized. Richard Nixon was in Dallas the day President Kennedy was shot. Even though their views were similar, each man disliked the other intensely.
