Denmark is ruled by a queen (Queen Margrethe II) and her husband is a prince not a king

Queen Elizabeth II 's husband is also not a king but a prince as well. If the throne is occupied by a female her spouse cannot have a title above her, queen and king are not of equal rank. So when a queen marries or takes the throne after marriage she is elevated to queen while the spouse retains his original title or if not a titular owner takes the next lowest rank I.e. prince. The opposite is true for females marrying without rank they most always get the female equivalent of the spouse because it is always of lower rank.

Now the USA is ruled by a moarcy. The top wealthiest business men who think they are better, smarter and deserve to run the country. Give me a break. They Don't "rule" anything but a position off figurehead. There are no monarchies in Europe ,only nastalgic dupes that have sentimental love for a arcane look back when commoners were treated like puke.
