Who invented the Caesar Salad?

This legendary salad may trick minds of its fans with its name that seems to have appeared after Julius Caesar, but you are not so blind to think so, aren't you? However, even then the origin of the well-known salad still stays vague and unclear.

According to the most realistic version, the salad was first cooked by an American chef of Italian ancestry (what a coincidence!) Caesar Cardini who presented to hungry audience his culinary triumph made of fresh cos-salad, small pieces of Parmesan cheese, cut eggs, crispy croutons and olive oil as a flavor. The dish was so simple and tasty, that its creator and his café soon became famous in America and then all over the world.

It's evident that there were some other people who claimed of the Caesar Salad's creation. For example, Livio Santini who worked at "Caesar's Place" (Caesar Cardini's cafe) has alleged repeatedly that he cooked the salad at the age of eighteen according to his mother's recipe while Cardini just arrogated the formula.
Anyway, now we have no idea how to solve the mystery of Caesar's salad origin. All that's left for us is to enjoy the taste of the legendary salad and be grateful to its creator for such an opportunity.

The Information I found says that the Caesar Salad originated from an Italian American restaurant in Tijuana, Mexico. The correct answer would then be, A Mexican of Italian origin salad! If there are more than one answer to the same question, the question should not be allowed.

Already have. Even gave a link and passage to show the correct answer. The explanation given was part of the same passage. This is not the first problem I have found with answers and explanations. Takes the fun out of the game.

Caesar Cardini Caesar salad was invented in the early 1920s by Caesar Cardini, an Italian chef who owned a restaurant in Tijuana, Mexico. He moved to Tijuana from California to avoid Prohibition, and it was here, on July 4th, 1924, where Caesar is believed to have invented the Caesar Salad.

This is incorrect across the board. It was a Mexican in Tijuana who invented the salad. And there is no such thing as a "Spanish."

The salad's creation is generally attributed to restaurateur Caesar Cardini, an Italian immigrant who operated restaurants in Mexico and the United States. Cardini was living in San Diego but he was also working in Tijuana where he avoided the restrictions of Prohibition. allysweets I did Copy and Paste this, okay. Also as an Awesome Home Cook, I never cooked a salad before, I've used cooked meats, but I think a cooked salad would be a vegetable side dish...maybe. I might be wrong though...
