Wyatt Berry Stapp Earp (March 19, 1848 – January 13, 1929) was an American Old West gambler, a deputy sheriff in Pima County, and deputy town marshal in Tombstone, Arizona Territory, who took part in the Gunfight at the O.K. Corral, where three outlaw cowboys were shot by lawmen. Besides the facts that Wyatt's brother was Tombstone city marshal and Deputy U.S. Marshal that moment, Earp himself is considered the main figure of the Tombstone incident.

Wyatt Berry Stapp Earp died at the age of eighty at home. Even nowadays Earp is known as a legendary lawman and a true icon of the Old West. In his life he was a constable, city policeman, county sheriff, Deputy U.S. Marshal, teamster, buffalo hunter, bouncer, saloon-keeper, gambler, brothel owner, pimp, miner, and boxing referee.
