He was born on the 9th of January, 1944

James Pages is an English musician, songwriter, and record producer who achieved international success as the guitarist and founder of Led Zeppelin. Before he became a part of Led Zeppelin, he was a member of another band (The Yardbirds).

Page is said to be one of the greatest guitarists of all time. Actually, Rolling Stone magazine ranked him number 3 in their list of the greatest guitarists of all time. He was introduced into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame twice!

He is often referred to as "rock's greatest and most mysterious guitar hero".

Although one of my favourite albums is Physical Grafitti, I feel as though Zeppelin is seriously overrated. I prefer the Velvet Underground & Lou Reed, Ramones, Stooges, Stones, X, Bowie... I love blues & although Page is brilliant and mysterious, he's, let's just say "different". I met him when I was 13 and didn't expect him to act the way he did and I've met many musicians.

Yep, I heard they were playing together and someone commented that the band "went over like a Led Zeppelin" hence the name. Sorry have to disagree but Clapton is the greatest guitarist......EVER!
