Terribly worded question. Should have asked "How many countries was she the queen of". Another bad question costing many people bonus points. When is quiz club going to take care of this issue and have someone vet these questions?

If a country has become independent then it is no longer part of another. The Queen is monarch of the UK, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. This was not only a poorly worded question but a badly worded and thought out answer relying on Wikipedia, a notoriously erroneous on line encyclopedia, although I and some others are trying to make it more data friendly. In future can the 'management' edit or make questors do their homework by checking their writing skills, their primary and secondary sources, and finally how they word their answers. The Queen is indeed the regnant monarch of several Island States who have independence from the English government, inter alia Jamaica, Papua New guinea and others, but not Bermuda which is an overseas territory. it must be stated that the 'Commonwealth' is a trade association where all member nations have an equal say irrespective of size or economy. The Queen is its head because she was elected unanimously as such, although any other head of a member state can become the head of this association if they are voted in. One of the main reasons why the Queen is head of this Association is because she has no political association or power. This is indeed why the English royal family has lasted so long. And by the way, she is regnant monarch of these States, but their taxes and incomes stay with them, no percentage goes to the UK. Only the UK regions pay taxes to the exchequer, Vasili Tchaikovsky. Get your facts right before you write comments.
