Was pretty sure that the Mexican border was longer. You can look at the map and kind of tell. Not surprised so many took the bait.

Dwayne Bush, I don't think it was a give-away. I knew the approximate distances, but looking at the map, I thought the figures might have been reversed. Had to convince myself that the original figures were indeed correct.

Looking at the map, Alaska's border with Canada extends south almost to Prince Rupert, BC. Comparing it to the US border with Mexico, this answer is suspect!😏
