The prime meridian passes through the following (in North to South order): United Kingdom, France, Spain, Algeria, Mali, Burkina Faso, Togo, Ghana, Queen Maud Land in Antarctica. It also passes through the Ashantiland peninsula, but since independence, Ashantiland has been politically integrated with Ghana.
