What car company used to make covered wagons before switching to automobiles?

Studabaker had the foresight to start making cars, recognizing the potential they had. Studebaker entered the automotive business in 1902 with electric vehiclesand in 1904 with gasoline vehicles, all sold under the name "Studebaker Automobile Company".

One of my first job out of the Marines was supervisor of a warehouse that used to be a Studebaker wagon and carriage company. It even still had the sign painted on the side of the building.

If you ever watch "The Philadelphia Story" (with Katharine Hepburn, Jimmy Stewart, etc.), there's a wonderful line when Hepburn's character Tracy Lord is interrogating Jimmy Stewart and his sidekick Liz played by Ruth Hussey...Hepburn says, "South Bend, it sounds like dahncing..." John W Shreve, It used to be that just 4 or 5 people voting against your question would prevent it from being posted. Nowadays I've seen questions with dozens of downvotes get published anyway.
