What city has a volcano within its boundaries?

The City of Portland Oregon sits right on top of not only volcanic soils, but on top of volcanoes themselves! The earliest volcanic activity that formed the bedrock beneath Portland started around 17 million years ago. What followed was a series of massive lava flows that originated in Idaho and rolled westward across large portions of the Pacific Northwest. This went on for millions of years.

There are no volcano's on the East coast...anywhere on the east coast that I know of..I'm a new yorker and family was from new England...they are still there

Poorly worded question. Which of the following cities would have been more correct, since Bend, OR, Jackson MS, and Honolulu, HI, also have "volcanoes" (not further defined) within their city limits.
