What country is shaped like a boot?
Many people know Italy as a boot-shaped country. It's a well-known symbol of the country and a basis for many jokes and anecdotes. The country is located in southern Europe and comprises the long, boot-shaped Italian Peninsula, usually nicknamed "The Boot". This is the only place shaped like a boot, that's why it is unique.

Maybe the only country shaped like a boot, but most definitely not the only place that looks like a boot.

Janice M. Stelly...Ummm, she didn't ask what State is shaped like a boot! She asked what Country, and since Louisiana is a State, and not a Country, her answers aren't ridiculous! Also, I don't think Louisiana looks anything, at all, like a boot! :/

Frank Rizzuto, Unfortunately for the world, not everyone is as smart as you are, and by the way I answered Italy? I believe that was the correct answer, but I better ask you.
