Poorly worded. And incorrect answer. Besides, everybody knows that "Barbie" is short for "Barbara". A full name would include her middle and last name.

Surely the doll "Barbie's" full name is Barbara. Ruth Handler name the doll after Barbara. and her daughter's full name is Barbara Millicent Roberts. Terry Defoe is asking the doll's full name not the daughter's full name.

I wanted a blonde Sindy, but the shop didn't have them in stock, so rather than waiting I got the brunette one.
I was livid when 30+ years later I discovered that my mother had given Sindy (and her clothes) to that same friend's daughters. I would have said yes, but she didn't ask me first. Possibly the wrong decision; I expect she'd be worth quite a lot more now than my father paid for her 50 years ago.
