The coat of arms of Vatican City is the state symbol of Vatican. It is a shield of red color with two crossed keys. As the legend goes, both of them are keys to Paradise. One of them opens the heaven's door for women and the other one – for men. There is also a Pope's tiara located above the keys.

According to another interpretation, one key serves to symbolize Christian people and the other – Moslem people, and the Pope is to unite them sooner or later (the keys are bound with a red ribbon).
