What is the currency of the Republic of Georgia?
This official Georgian currency appeared only in 1995. Besides, the symbol of the currency was introduced only one year ago (in 2014). At present, people of Georgia may use banknotes (1, 2,5,10, 20, 50, 100, 200 lari) and coins (1, 2, 10 lari). One lari consists of 100 tetri. There are some tetri coins as well. Banks of Georgia also monetizes some commemorative lari/tetra coins.

Apparantly the answer was "toughened" up by shortening it to Lari. Question: did the majority of the 42% who missed it come after the change?

In Georgia we don't have 1 and 2 Lari notes and there is also no 10 Lari coins.
