Daniel Halley Not necessarily. The dirtiest country is not the United States but a tie between India and China. Please take your anti-american garbage and keep it to yourself ... from an Iraqi freedom veteran... God Bless America

Daniel Halley --This country is still free enough that if you don't like it you can always leave and go where it is freer and cleaner. Enlisted in 1980 and retired in 2009.

Cliff Hanselmann, yes, it kind of defeats the purpose. And it’s a bit sad that you are so competitive that you will google the answer in an attempt to get the highest score. I will probably never win but I get my score honestly and on my own merits and I’m still learning at the same time

The question should be "Where" is the world's cleanest country not What. Poor English is no excuse.

Had to be either Iceland or Norway, both very clean countries, guessed right though.

This question is not specific enough. There are too many different “expert” opinions on which country is the cleanest to be able to give a correct answer.

Iceland is the only item on my bucket list.
Don't mind missing anything else, but that's a must.

I guessed Iceland, just seemed right. A second guess would have been Norway.

I figured it was Iceland. Never saw any roadside litter, nor litter at the tourist sites. Fascinating country. A bonus- they speak English.

A Google search says Finland is the cleanest, Iceland is second. But Finland wasn't an option.
