Francis Albert Sinatra was born to a family of Italian immigrants, who lived in New Jersey. Frank's birth was traumatic, and even the doctor thought the infant was dead, as he was all blue and didn't breathe. His grandmother picked up little Frank, stuck him under some cold water and the baby came to life. The doctor's forceps left the scars on Frank's face, and one of the greatest American artists of all time carried them for the rest of his life.
