Convicted Oklahoma City bomber Timothy McVeigh had two pints of Ben & Jerry's mint chocolate ice cream for his last meal before being executed on June 11, 2001 in Terre Haute, Indiana.

On June 2, 1997, McVeigh was found guilty on 11 counts of a federal indictment stemming from the April 19, 1995 bombing of the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building in Oklahoma City that killed 168 people. The trial was held in Denver.

McVeigh was a Gulf War veteran who sought revenge for the 1993 Waco Siege, the 1992 Ruby Ridge incident and U.S. foreign policy. He wanted to start a revolt against the Federal Government.
