What was the largest tank battle in the history of warfare?

The battle took place in Summer of 1943 was on a scale almost unimaginable today. The Germans fielded 3,253 tanks and over 940,000 men. The Soviet Union 5,128 tanks and about 2 and a half million men.

Read about it and saw on hustory channel, germans advance was halted and war if attrition started that led to germany ultimate defeat
