What was the name of the hill where King Solomon built his temple?

The great work of King Solomon's reign was the building of the House of God. It was generally called the Temple. It was built on Mount Zion (the Temple Mount), one of the hills of Jerusalem. Mount Zion/the Temple Mount (Hebrew for Mount/Temple of the House of God), known to Muslims as the Haram esh-Sharif (Arabic: al-Ḥaram al-Qudsī al-Šarīf, the Noble Sanctuary of Jerusalem), is a hill specifically located in the Old City of Jerusalem. It is one of the most important religious sites in the world, and it has been venerated as a holy site for thousands of years by Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. The present site is dominated by three monumental structures from the early Umayyad period: the al-Aqsa Mosque, the Dome of the Rock and the Dome of the Chain, as well as four minarets.
