When is wheat harvest time in Argentina?

The correct answer is that the vast majority of wheat harvest in Argentina occurs in December with a little bit left to finish up in January. This would be when it is cold with the snow blowing in the central states and great Plains of the US where most of the United States wheat is grown.

Remember that Argentina is in the southern hemisphere and its weather patterns are 180 degrees (or 6 months) out of sync with the weather in the northern hemisphere. In the United Stated, most of the wheat harvest starts mid to late June and finishes up in early July.

Perhaps we could be informed how long it takes from sowing the seed to harvest, like any gardener likes to know. The Southern Hemisphere is not out of sync, what codswallop. December is Summer in the important part of the world. Even the Aussies would agree with me.

Here in Canada the wheat. Harvest is Sept and Oct.I guess that’s why I got fooled

I lived in deep South Texas,and the cotton harvest started in June,4-5 months earlier than most places. Wheat doesn't grow there in Summer due to dry,hot conditions,but can be grown in Winter.
