The Parish Church of the Assumption, is commonly referred to as the Rotunda of Mosta or the Mosta Dome. It is a Roman Catholic church on the island of Malta. It was started in 1833 and took 28 years to build. The design is neoclassical and is based on the Pantheon in Rome. The walls are 9.1 m (30 ft) thick supporting a dome with an internal diameter of 37.2 m (122 ft). Limestone blocks are the building material. At one time it was said to be the third largest unsupported dome in the world.

The church narrowly avoided destruction during World War II when Malta was being heavily bombed. On 9 April 1942 a German aerial bomb pierced the dome and fell into the church during mass but failed to explode. There were more than 275 people inside at the time. This event is believed by the Maltese to be a miracle. A replica of the bomb is currently on display in the sacristy.
