The word assassinated is commonly used in, a prominent person. In this case, executed may have been more appropriate. Considering the one in the question.

The authorities secretly disposed of it, just as in this case and just as in other similar cases—to avoid creating a site to draw martyrs. Also, the man who fired the fatal shot is well known to the public and appears on TV often. He was not killed as you allege. But I guess you'll claim he's fake too. That should be easier for you to do than document any public display of Che's body.
