Which actor was the first to appear in Doctor Who, Star Wars and Star Trek?

Deep Roy (born Mohinder Purba; 1 December 1957), sometimes credited as Roy Deep, is a Kenyan-English actor, stuntman, puppeteer, comedian. Roy was born in Nairobi, Kenya, to Indian parents. He made his professional screen acting debut in a 1976 episode of The New Avengers entitled "Target!" as a character named Klokoe.

There is only one actor the world over who has achieved the Sci-Fi trifecta of appearing in the three biggest Sci-Fi franchises on earth. Roy appeared first in Doctor Who, playing Mr. Sin in the 1977 story arc “The Talons of Weng-Chiang”. He then appeared in 1983’s Star Wars: Episode VI – Return of the Jedi as Droopy McCool. Finally, he sealed the trifecta with his 2009 Star Trek appearance as Keenser.

The answer is outdated. Although Deep Roy was first to hold this distinction, there are now TWO actors who have appeared on all three franchises. Roy is among the ranks of actors who have appeared in Star Trek and Doctor Who. Given his role in Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi, Roy is the FIRST and, along with Simon Pegg, one of only TWO actors to appear in Star Trek, Doctor Who, and Star Wars on television or film.
