Which are the permanent snow capped mountains within sight of the equator?
Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania is the only permanent snow cap within sight of the equator.
What are your thoughts on this subject?

after doing some research , although mount kenya is getting warmer it still has permanent glaciers and a permanent snow cap, and again, is much closer than kilimanjaro.

mount kilimanjaro is about 200 miles from the equator where mount kenya is less than 10 miles. this site is so whacked!

Mount Kenya is 6 miles north of the equator and I have been there and built a snowman. So you are wrong. Kilimanjaro is not in sight of the equator.
