The Consumer Electronics Show (CES) is considered as the world's biggest tech conference and is scheduled to kick off in Las Vegas, USA on January 5 and will be up to January 8 in hybrid mode due to COVID-19 pandemic. The event, which showcases the latest technological development in consumer electronics, will provide a global access to major brands and startups, as well as the world's most-influential leaders. Over 2100 companies have committed to the exhibiting in LAS Vegas and many more are being added each week. Key industry audiences are also showing strong commitments: 200 of the Fortune Global 500, 77 of the interbrand 100, 66 of the top retailers and leading US and global media are already registered and joining in show at Las Vegas. 159 countries are already registered and joining the tech show in Las Vegas.
About 15,000 people have registered to attend tech show CES in person despite the global fears about the Omicron variant of the Coronavirus. The likes of Amazon, Intel, AMD, Microsoft, Lenovo, Meta, Twitter, and Google have announced that they will take part in the event virtually. These companies will live-stream press conferences and host digital exhibits rather than hosting in person. In contrast, Samsung, Sony, LG and Qualcomm plan to attend the event.
New models of Smartphones, Laptops, TVs, Pet robots, robot vacuum cleaners, graphic cards, wireless earbuds and others will be major attractions of the event this year.
