Which country was the first to carry out aerial bombardment?
The first bombing from the air was carried out before WWI, in the Italo-Turkish War of 1911-1912. Giulio Gavotti was the first aviator to perform this type of attack.

Actually the very first was from an uamanned balloon by the Austrians against Venice in 1849 cheeky.

Incorrect. Ariel bombardment can go back to the mid-evil days of catapults. The first modern day was via balloons in1849 during the First Italian war of Independence.
