Filmnut, I once had a great history book about a husband, his wife , their son, and daughter. They took a month in the summer, and traveled to all the revolutionary war sights. The family walked all the battlefields and visited the main points of interests. It was a great book that caught my 12 year old interest, in a way most history books didn’t.

sharona, You make a good point. However, Bennington is in Vermont. State next door to New Hampshire. So no Revolutionary War battles were fought in New Hampshire. (I lived in Keene, New Hampshire for 6 years, so Vermont was always a close neighbor.)
