Curt was born in Anchorage Alaska on November 14th,1966. He was drafted by the Boston Red Sox in the 2nd round of the 1986 amateur draft. His last game was on September 25th, 2007. Schilling has 3 World Series rings and was co-mvp in the 2001 World Series along with Randy Johnson while pitching with the Arizona Diamondbacks when they defeated the New York Yankees.

Curt Schilling ended his career with 216 wins,146 losses with an earned run average of 3.46 and 3,116 strikeouts.

Schilling sustained a leg/foot injury during Game 5 of the 2004 ALCS against the Yankees. Not sure if this was the impetus for their comeback to take that Series and finally become World Champions, but Curt could not seem to get the wound to stop bleeding, so for part of that game, he literally had a Red Sock!
