Which movie did Samuel L. Jackson star in?

I didn't know that he was in 1408 but I did know that he wasn't in Titanic, Harry Potter or The Green Mile; process of elimination.

Instead of just stating "a Swedish director" why not give his name, Mikael Håfström? A brief plot summary would also have been helpful for those who are unfamiliar with the movie. If I get a question wrong I prefer a detailed answer so that I actually learn something, this synopsis was just plain lazy.

He was the manager of the Dolphin Hotel in "1408". He tried to convince John Cusack's character not to spend the night in the haunted room 1408.

For anyone coming in late on this one. 1408 is a haunted room in a hotel that is unrentable. Until a psychic investigator comes to rent it and will not take no for an answer. The rest of the movie deals with events that occur in the room during his stay.

Samuel Jackson is the greatest actor, and has been cheated of an Oscar several times. I think he's much better that Dernsel Washington or Jamie Foxx, yet... they apparentlñy don¡'t take him seriously.

Samuel L. Jackson was in the movie "1408" but was not the star. John Cusack was the star of the movie, and if you you like scary horror movies, you will like this one. John Cusack really sells it. Yay me.
