Cordozar Calvin Broadus, Jr. (born October 20, 1971), known professionally as Snoop Dogg, is an American rapper and actor from Long Beach, California. His music career began in 1992 when he was discovered by N.W.A. specifically Dr. Dre. As a result of working with Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg was prominently featured throughout Dr. Dre's solo debut album, The Chronic (1992).
Snoop Dogg has since sold over twenty one million albums in the United States and thirty five million albums worldwide. Now, it is hard to believe that Snoop Dogg has never won a Grammy.

Rapp is not music. It is a literary form of poetry. Most people who do Rapp do so because they cannot sing a tune otherwise.

Shelley Welch Dunivan, You can add me to the list. I remember the first time I heard rap. Just talking, not singing. Now it seems "spoken word" is coming (winner of that last US talent show that I no longer watch), not there is much difference.
