Which state is known as the "Show me!" state?
The origin of the slogan is a matter of argument. Nevertheless, the most popular legend takes its roots in the latter half of the 19th century. According to the story, Willard Duncan during one of his speeches said that he was a genuine Missourian that is why in order to prove him something one had to show it! Even today the phrase describes the inhabitants of the state best as they are conservative and would never believe in anything until they get enough evidence.

Well I had a wild guess and got it wrong - the photo showed an urban city so I went for Illinois! I am, however, living in South Africa and I've only been to the USA twice on holiday - once to California/Nevada and another trip to Florida.
