The three U.S. Presidents who have won Grammy Awards are Jimmy Carter, Bill Clinton and Barack Obama. They each won the award in the Best Spoken Word Album category.

In addition to serving as the 42nd President of the United States, Bill Clinton was the first president to win a Grammy. Then he became a two time, back to back, Grammy winner. He first won a Grammy in 2004 for his work in narrating the English version of Wolf Track. Next, his 2005 Grammy win came from his autobiography My Life which closely follows the ex-president’s life from childhood to his departure from the oval office.

Jimmy Carter who served as the 39th U.S. President won a Grammy in 2007. His book and subsequent audio book were entitled Our Endangered Value: America's Moral Crisis. The book's focus is on moral values that people must face each day.

Barack Obama, the 44th U.S. President, had to battle both Bill And Hillary Clinton in 2008 to win the Grammy Award. He was victorious over Bill and Hillary; but, even more impressive is that this was his second Grammy. His two Grammy Awards came from his abridged audio books: Dreams from My Father in 2006 and for The Audacity of Hope in 2008.
