Ronald Wilson Reagan was the 40th President of the United States, a Hollywood actor and union leader. His office presidency lasted from 1981 to 1989. After arguments about Reagan's political ambitions, Wyman filed for divorce in 1948 citing a distraction due to her husband's Screen Actors Guild union duties; the divorce was finalized in 1949.
