Who is this?
Jennifer Jones (March 2, 1919 – December 17, 2009) was a famous actress of the Hollywood golden years. For her role in The Song of Bernadette she won an Oscar and was nominated for the Award several times for her other works. Jennifer was married three times.
Jones' acting career lasted for 30 years. Her work includes more than 20 wonderful films.
In 1980 Jones founded the Jennifer Jones Simon Foundation For Mental Health And Education after her daughter's suicide. In later life, Jones left public life to settle down with her son's family in Malibu and have a quiet retirement.

I'm not familiar with Jennifer Jones but, the age of the photo could have been Liz Taylor.

I was named after Jennifer Jones. Asked my parents why they named me Jennifer since I was born in 1949 (am 70 now) and Jennifer was an uncommon name then. Last place I worked as an RN there were 5 Jennifers working on my floor.

I remember Jennifer Jones in "Duel in the Sun". "Love is a Many Splendored Thing" and other movies. I am 76 and I love all the old movies.
