Waldo Brian Donlevy (February 9, 1901 – April 6, 1972), later known as Brian Donlevy, was an Irish-American actor, most famous for his roles of tough and dangerous guys. Donlevy started acting in the 1930s and remained popular for another 30 years.

Waldo was nominated for an Oscar for his role as Sergeant Markoff in Beau Geste, a 1939 adventure film based on the novel of the same title. Donlevy's other prominent works include the 1952 TV series Dangerous Assignment and the 1940 political satire comedy film The Great McGinty. Brian's obituary in The Times newspaper in the UK stated that "any consideration of the American 'film noir' of the 1940s would be incomplete without him".
