Deborah Yestramski, an assault rifle in the hands of the wrong person is a disaster waiting to happen. That is what Heston fought for. As well as today's gun nuts. Citizens don't need assault rifles. When the Constitution was written, the most potent of the arms was a single shot blunderbuss. The 2nd Amendment should not be applicable to high capacity clips in excess of 8.

Spike Holmes, you offer the last argument of those desperate for a point. It is harder to get a driver's license than to buy an AR15. Exactly what sensible purpose does an AR15 serve for an average citizen? Not hunting or security. It is only good for warfare. That NRA gun nut Wayne Lapierre talks about taking up arms against his own country. Exactly why he and those of his ilk should not have assault rifles.

Bill Mcnair, you are brain dead. In 1787 when the Constitution was written, "bearing arms" meant a blunderbuss. A far cry from an AR15 today. Then interpretation of the Constitution to include weapons of mass was is insane. You gun nut extremists are the people who hate this country. Always talking of seceding or taking up arms against the government. You are the turds who need to leave. Take that un-American crazy Aholle Ted Nugent with you.

Deborah Yestramski, I never said all gun owners are nut cases. Only the ones who need assault rifles. It is a supplement for weak manhood. The NRA fights for NO background checks at gun shows. And anybody who belongs to that organization has blood on their hands. Every time there is mass murder, assault rifle sales skyrocket. It is sick!

Ben Totuous Ben, you are fighting a losing battle. I agree with everything you've posted, but the other gun nuts will never listen to reasonable arguments for gun control. They are small-minded imbecilies and guns make them feel powerful. They are cowards who band together to come up with weak excuses to keep their guns. They obviously don't give a damn about the families who are living with the pain of losing their relatives to gun-toting lunatics. They should all go to hell!

Deborah Yestramski, I saw interviews with Heston late in his life. He was a stark raving lunatic about guns . Brandishing and shaking a rifle over his head like a mental misfit. Screaming "From my cold dead hands." It was scary. Trump is about the same. They worship the almighty gun. These senseless terror attacks are sponsored by the NRA owned Republican Party. They fight sensible checks on gun buyers. The idea that somebody gets their gun if no dirt comes up on them within 3 days is insane. It does not even require a clear background check. Just the lack of any response in 3 days.

Oh good grief. I like taking the quiz just to learn. Why has it become so politically charged? This is rapidly not becoming fun anymore. I think I’m just going to start not reading any comments.

Strange how the question has been turned in to a debate about gun laws. Can't you just leave it be? Not going to solve it here. For the record,I thought Charlton was one of the great actors. "Nuff said eh?

If gun ownership is made illegal, I’m sure criminals will be first to surrender theirs! That’s just what they want! An unarmed victim.
And “assault rifles” are illegal to own already.
Cars kill more people than guns do. I guess we need to ban cars now.

Spike Holmes, I agree with you that a vehicle can be a potentially deadly weapon and so can knives, hammers, chainsaws and hundreds of other items. However, these items also serve another essential purpose, e.g., vehicles transport goods, animals and people, knives to cut our meat and vegetables, and so forth. The sole purpose of assault weapons are to kill large numbers of people in a very short amount of time and that's it.

Ben Totuous, the blunderbuss was way out dated by the time the 2nd Amend was written. More liberal nonsense from people who know nothing about firearms but like to pretend they know everything

Ben Totuous, What exactly is an assault rifle? You seem to be confused. Who are you to dictate to us what Our 2nd Amendment rights should be or not be?? Do you think that maybe we should try to keep the Criminals from using these guns. Lets try fighting crime and not the Honest Citizens of America!
