Jim Turner is a former National Football League kicker for the New York Jets and the Denver Broncos. In 1969, Turner kicked three field goals and an extra point for the Jets in their 16-7 victory over the Baltimore Colts in Super Bowl III. In Super Bowl XII, Turner booted a field goal and an extra point for the Broncos in a 27-10 loss to the Dallas Cowboys. The feat made Turner the first player in NFL history to score points for two teams in Super Bowl history.

Turner played 16 seasons in the league making 304 of 488 field goals and 521 extra points for a total of 1,433 points. His career-long field goal was 53 yards. He also scored the lone touchdown of his career when he caught a pass during a fake field goal against the Oakland Raiders in 1977.

Jerry Rice scored touchdowns in the Super Bowl for both the San Francisco 49ers (1988, 1989, 1994) and Oakland Raiders (2002). Kicker Adam Vinatieri scored on field goals and extra points in the Super Bowl for both the New England Patriots (2001,2003, 2004) and Indianapolis Colts (2006).
