Who was the first US President to receive the Nobel Prize?

Theodore Roosevelt, the 26th President of the USA, received the Nobel Peace Prize for his outstanding achievements and solutions to end the Russo-Japanese War in 1906. He became the first American President to have the honor of winning this award, but not the only one. The Nobel Peace Prize was later received by President Woodrow Wilson in 1919, by Former President Jimmy Carter in 2002 and by President Barack Obama in 2009 for their outstanding contributions in maintaining the peaceful environment of the world.

So, the prize goes to those principal leaders of the Spanish American War, WW 1, the reduction of American strength in the latter Cold War, and the current terror environment. I guess that is why the inventor of dynamite created the Peace Prize. Strange logic to their award system.

Mark Johnson, Woodrow Wilson was perhaps the most intelligent president we've had, and I believe the only one with a PhD. But his ideas still helped cause WWII. Just because a smart man is liberal doesn't mean liberalism is always smart. Just like a man who is a liberal isn't always peaceful and tolerant😉.

Unfortunate the prize at one time was noble, but once it was given to the worst President in History, Obama, for worsening the state of the US, the prize like the mainstream media is slanted left and politicized!
