Nancy Patricia D'Alesandro Pelosi (born on the 26th of March, 1940) is the Minority Leader of the United States House of Representatives. Pelosi served as the 52nd Speaker of the United States House of Representatives from 2007 to 2011. She is the first woman to become the House Speaker in the US and also the highest-ranking female politician in the American history. After many years of Pelosi's representing San Francisco in Congress, a street in Golden Gate Park was named after her.
