Willard Herman Scott, Jr. is an American weather presenter and occasional actor. He was very active on TV and had appeared in many TV projects and shows, Willard is best known as the first actor to portray Ronald McDonald. The character was created by Scott at McDonald's request. Scott performed as McDonald from 1963 to 1966, but later the restaurant chain replaced Willard because of his weight, as the company management was really worried about the image and reputation of the fast food corporation.
