You can see eyes of this animal through its ears. What animal are we talking about?
One can hardly believe it, but here is the truth: if you peer into an owl’s ear-hole, at least in a saw-whet owl, you really can see its eye!
Ornithologists gently part the feathers to show people the asymmetrical ear openings.
What are your thoughts on this subject?

Is Marco stating the front of the eye or the back of the eye? By parting the feathers, you would be able to see the profile of the eye. Although some owls have ear tufts, not all do. Ever try to look a burrowing pygmy owl in the ear? Try looking a chicken in the ear!
