I am meticulous, but I have been accused of being demanding and picky.

I am meticulous in knitting, crocheting and cross stitch. If I spot a mistake no one would notice, I fix it, even if it means undoing a lot of work.

Germans are one of those meticulous individual for precise details and accuracy. They don't believe in the saying "to err is human, but to forgive is divine". None of which is applicable to them.

earlepg, I suppose to some people meticulous could be translated as demanding, as precise could be seen as picky, you never know , some people can be easily offended
