St Agnes is the southernmost populated island of the Isles of Scilly which are found off the coast of Cornwall. The island's Troy Town Farm is the southernmost settlement in the United Kingdom.

St Agnes joins the island of Gugh by a tombolo, a kind of sandbar, called the Gugh Bar, which is exposed only at low tide. The two islands together have a population of 85 residents recorded in the 2011 census and a landmass of 366 acres. The island's most notable landmark is its lighthouse, which has been converted into living accommodation as the tower no longer contains a light.

Lundy is an English island in the Bristol Channel and it is part of the county of Devon. About 5 km long and 1 km wide, Lundy frequently changed hands between the British crown and various parties. In 1969 it was purchased by millionaire Jack Hayward, who donated it to the National Trust.

Sark is a part of the Channel Islands and found off the coast of France. It has a population of about 500. Sark has an area of 2.10 square miles and is one of the few remaining places in the world where cars are banned from roads and only tractors, bicycles and horse-drawn vehicles are allowed. In 2011 Sark was designated as a Dark Sky Community and the first Dark Sky Island in the world.

Anglesey is off the north-west coast of Wales and at 260 square miles is the largest in Wales and the seventh largest in Britain. The island is connected to the mainland by the Menai Suspension Bridge.
