Alexander Pushkin is one of the greatest poets of Ukrainian origin.

Alexander Pushkin is one of the most famous Russian poets who is considered the founder of modern Russian literature. He was born in Moscow and published his first poem at the age of 15. Being a novelist of the Romantic era, Pushkin wrote a lot of novels in verse, such as Eugene Onegin.

Pushkin was fatally wounded in duel with the man who tried to seduce the poet's wife and died on the 10th of February, 1831.

I didn't even answer the question and i got it wrong . It happens a lot. No I never have read any novels by a Russian author. Didn't Ukrainian belong to Russia. The question is really not writen properly.

I did not know this one so I asked a frend who lives in the Ukraine and she said he was born in Moscow and that he really only visited in the Ukraine .
