Are Blue Jays descendants from dinosaurs?
Have you ever wondered why most modern birds have a lot in common with baby dinosaurs? Or do you think that this theory is bizarre? The interesting fact is that biologists proved the idea of some birds being closely related to the extinct creatures! You won't believe it but scientists have analyzed the bones of dinosaurs (for sure, bird-like ones) and came to the conclusion that some birds such as the Blue Jays are…distant relatives of dinosaurs!

Seriously? We're STILL having this debate (evolution vs creation) in the TWENTY FIRST CENTURY?
Probably a good thing we're not capable of interstellar space travel.

Catryna White, evolution is a theory for which we have lots of solid evidence... The fossil record. As opposed to the bible, for which there is zero concrete evidence of anything written therein. So you have to ask yourself... Is it easier to believe dinosaurs once lived when looking at a skeleton in a museum, or believing a man walked on water. Or the other preposterous things like virgin birth, surviving being swallowed by a whale, resurrection, etc.

birds started evolving before the end of the jurassic age, but they evolved from dinosaurs... may actually fossils of previously named dinosaurs (sans feathers) have been found with fossilized feathers.
The closest living relative of TRex, is actually the chicken. Ain't revenge sweet.lol

Catryna White I'm just supposing you go by the theor that the world was create 6,000 years ago, a happy place, with dinosaurs, pre ambulids, fish, algae, cytosphores, humans, etc.
The explain to me how the nearest Galaxy is 50,000,000 light years from us.
And the furthest galaxy is 14 billion light years from us/
And why they can't clone a dinosaur, because DNA disolves after 15,000 years under normal conditions.
Please don't even try to answer any more science questions using the Bible.
Nobody in their right mind would, including the Jewish Scholars who interpret their ORIGINAL MANUSCRIPTS, which are the basis of the Bible.

Not much info there. Scientists concluded this largely because the bones of each are hollow.

Genesis 1:20-23
20 And God said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that hath life, and fowl that may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven.
21 And God created great whales, and every living creature that moveth, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that it was good.
22 And God blessed them, saying, Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let fowl multiply in the earth.
23 And the evening and the morning were the fifth day.

25 And the seventh day the author of the colossal fairy tale known as the bible put down his crack pipe and rested.

Ben, it actually goes much further than that. It has to do with the hip structure, the shoulder structure, the head structure, the bone structure, etc. Not just one peice of evidence. Plus. their are many feathered dinosaur fossils.

This answer is incorrect as of 2019 as Blue jays have been found to evolve only recently.

Shae Deschenes, religion is merely a matter of faith. One thing's for sure people the earth certainly wasn't created in 6 days with a rest on the sun. And anyone believing it was really should go & see a head specialist immediately!!

Shae Deschenes, spot on! As I like to say, I don’t care where we came from; I’m more concerned about where we’re going…

James Barry Link, All fossils are transitional. Species don’t instantly evolve into another species. I suggest you learn how Evolution works, before trying to debate it.

Ben Totuous, The Bible is a lot of short stories written by men. True or not. Evolution started with something that was created.

Otis Galloway, for evolution to happen, something had to be created, right?

Okay let me arbitrate this creation vs evolution with a compromise. Jesus preached riding a T-Rex and Darwin taught Sunday School. Better?
