Brandon de Wilde, an American actor, didn't have any role in the action-adventure film "Kim". Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer, Inc. (MGM) in 1938 originally announced that the film would be made starring Freddie Bartholomew and Robert Taylor but World War II put an end to the effort. When the film was made by MGM in 1950, it was directed by Victor Saville and produced by Leon Gordon, starring Errol Flynn, Dean Stockwell, and Paul Lukas. Other with feature roles are Robert Douglas, Thomas Gomez, Cecil Kellaway, Arnold Moss, Reginald Owen, Laurette Luez, Richard Hale, Roman Toporow, and Ivan Triesault. In the film, Stockwell (Kim) is an orphaned English boy in 1880's India. He disguises himself as a native and has adventures in the British Secret service.

Brandon de Wilde (Andre Brandon de Wilde) was born in April 1942 in Brooklyn, New York and died in July 1972. He died as a result of injuries suffered in a traffic accident in a Denver, Colorado suburb. He was 30 years old.
